Meet the team
Andrew Snell
Captain of Good Company Fishing Team, Capt. Andrew is a USCG Licensed Captain and the founder of Good Company Fishing.
His love for fishing started at a young age, lake and pond fishing, but it really took off once he was introduced to salt water fishing. Now he lives to chase the pelagic gamefish that swim offshore.
With thousands of hours behind the wheel Capt. Andrew has fished up and down the East Coast and the Bahamas.
When not on the water you can find him at his full time job, a Captain with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.
Erik Michael
Capt. Erik Michael is a USCG Licensed Captain, and team member of Good Company Fishing.
Raised in Golf Shoes, Ala. and later moving to the Tampa Bay area where he found himself chasing tailing reds out of a small john boat at a young age.
Capt. Erik has a passion for chasing pelagic species off the eastern coast from Delaware to the Bahamas. If you see him on the water, or at the ramp please stop, and introduce yourself.
When not on the water you can find him at his full time job, as a Police Officer in Lancaster County Pa.
Barry Maham
Relief Captain and Team Member
As a young child Barry was always excited for the chance to fish a small creek or pond. As a teenager his family moved to the Potomac River and he was always on the water salmon skiing, wakeboarding and barefoot skiing.
A co-worker took him fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and soon after he sold his wakeboard boat for a center console. From there he started trailering to Oregon Inlet and running offshore searching for blue water and colorful, hard fighting pelagic fish.
A few years later Barry began to fish with Good Company, which has opened many new fishing opportunities as the team gets to travel the East Coast, see new ports and meet new people with the same passion. As a licensed USCG Captain, you’ll find Barry behind the wheel of our vessels as one of our Relief Captains.
When not fishing Barry can be found with his kids on the lacrosse field or taking them and their friends fishing, tubing and wakeboarding. When not with family you can find him towing for Boat US, volunteering with Veterans Fishing, or at his Full time job, Captain with Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department, assigned to the Fire Boat.
Mike Ly
Social Media Manager and Team Member.
An avid saltwater fisherman. His love and passion for fishing started when he was a kid fishing with his dad on a lake. He became hooked on saltwater fishing because you'll never know whats on the other end of the line. He loves jigging for big fish and chasing pelagic species in the deep blue sea.
When not on the water, you'll find him behind a computer editing footage or behind the wheel of a fire engine with his full time job with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue

Matt Sandlin
Shirt Man and Team Member
Matt was born and raised in the Wilmington, NC area. Growing up he always enjoyed spending time knee boarding on the intercoastal waterway or hanging out on the sandbars of Pender County. Occasionally you could find him wetting a hook for some flounder.
It wasn't until about 10 years ago after being invited to go on a charter did he find his love for offshore fishing. Now he loves chasing anything pelagic, and spends a lot of time looking for those big North Carolina King Mackerels.
When not on the water you can find him at his full time job, a Battalion Chief with Pender EMS and Fire or designing awesome shirts for Laid Back Custom Gear.
